A 25% deposit per person is required to secure a confirmed reservation. Legal names first and last are required for all travel itineraries. The balance of payment is due 90 days prior to departure.* Full Payment will be due for bookings made inside of 90 days. Deposit invoice and confirmation will be sent all reservations are subject to cancellation if payments are not received by the due date. Upon full payment of the tour price, Refined Journeys agrees to arrange for the provision of the services as described and as modified by supplementary materials. Payment constitutes agreement of the terms and conditions listed herein as authorized by the card holder or their representative in the signing of the Booking Form. Refined Journeys is a member of the California Seller of Travel and the Travel Consumer Restitution Fund.
*Once you have booked your vacation and paid your deposit, you remain liable to pay surcharges including increases in transportation costs, dues, taxes or fees chargeable for services such as landing taxes, or embarkation or disembarkation fees at ports and airports, or the fluctuations in the exchange rates applicable to your vacation up to the date of your final invoice. Where surcharges are applicable, we will absorb an amount equal to 2% of the basic vacation cost excluding any insurance, administration or amendment fees. No reduction will be made on the vacation prices if the dollar improves in value against foreign currencies.
American Express, Visa, Mastercard and respective debit cards as well as bank checks are all acceptable forms of payment. All payments made by bank check should be made payable to Refined Journeys.
Refined Journeys will do its best to make any changes that you may request after your confirmation has been sent. If an amendment or cancellation by you or any member of your party is necessary, this must be confirmed in writing by the party or representative (travel agent) that signed the Booking Form. Amendment fee is payable upon request and any further fees incurred by these changes will be due upon acceptance of the change. Cancellation and fees payable by you to the company on the following basis:

Notification of a cancellation or change to a confirmed booking will be valid only if made in writing and signed by the representative (travel agent) on the Booking Form or by the credit card holder. As indicated immediately above, if you cancel your vacation after it has started, no refund will be given. Please note that insurance premiums are not refundable. When you travel with any carrier, whether by road, rail, air or sea, the conditions of carriage of that carrier will apply, some of which may exclude or limit liability in accordance with international conventions. Copies of conditions of carriage are available upon request. To the extent that we have any liability to you, our liability shall not exceed that of the applicable carrier.
If we are forced to cancel or change your vacation by reason of Force Majeure, you may not be entitled to any compensation payment. Force Majeure means any event which we (or our supplier of services) could not, even with all due care, avoid. This will include war or threat of war, terrorist activity or threat of such activity, civil riots or strife, nuclear disaster, illness, disease, adverse weather conditions, health risks and epidemics and all other circumstances and “Acts of God” beyond our control. We accept no responsibility for and shall not be liable for any loss or damage sustained by you or for any changes to your vacation caused by circumstances amounting to a Force Majeure.
Travel Insurance is not included in our packages and tours. We strongly recommend that you consider trip cancellation insurance as a means to prevent hardship and to recover charges in the event of an unexpected cancellation.

We will notify you in your Confirmation invoice of the name of the airline operator, the aircraft type and the destination of your vacation. We expect to provide you with all the services we have confirmed at the time of booking and which are contained in your itinerary. However, all airlines are subject to operational delays, change of aircraft and routing, over which we have no control. When such changes are made we will do our best to minimize any inconvenience, but we will not be liable for any loss or expenditure incurred as a result of any such change made by the airline.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you hold a valid passport and Visa for the country to which you are traveling. Please note that many governments demand an adequate period of validity of your passport beyond the return date (usually six months) of your vacation. You should consult your doctor or local health clinic well in advance of your vacation to obtain any advice on vaccinations/inoculations against hepatitis, typhoid or tetanus or any other vaccination/inoculation that may be necessary. These will vary depending on the country you are traveling to.
Refined Journeys and/or its agents act only as agents in regard to transportation, accommodations and other services provided in your vacation package. By making this booking, Refined Journeys accepts no liability or responsibility for any injury, damages, loss, accident, delay or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason or defect, through acts or defaults of any company or person, or in carrying out the arrangements of the tour, as a result of any cause beyond control of Refined Journeys. Guests specifically release Refined Journeys from any and all claims for loss or damage to baggage or property or from personal injuries or death, or from loss or delay, arising out of the acts, omissions or negligence of any independent contractors, such as air carriers, hotels, cruise companies or other provider of services or facilities. All arrangements made for tour participants with independent contractors, are made solely for convenience to participants and are done at participants own risk. Tickets, vouchers and other travel documents are subject to all terms and conditions of the respective suppliers. Under no circumstances shall Refined Journeys be construed as a carrier under a contract for safe carriage of the passenger or his/her belongings.
Refined Journeys shall not be liable for delay or inability to perform any condition or part thereof caused by or arising out of strikes, acts of God or other conditions beyond our control.
Legal names first and last our required for all tour and air reservations, failure to provide this information could result in penalties equaling the cost of but not limited to your air itinerary.
